Arriving at the venue
Our venue is the Prague Congress Centre, which will hold our yearly conference during the 13-15 of October. The access is at the “Entrance 4”. We highly recommend the use of public transportation. The best way to arrive is through line C of the metro at the station “Vysehrad” exiting through the “Vysehrad, Holiday Inn” exit.
Purchasing Tickets – Public Integrate Transport (PIT)
Public transport tickets mainly must be purchased before you board the bus, tram, or metro. In trams, urban buses, and trolleybuses, a touchscreen terminal sells full-price and /or half-price tickets for Prague with a time validity of 30 minutes, 90 minutes, or 24 hours. These tickets are valid from the moment of purchase and have their validity already printed on them, therefore they don’t have to be validated anymore. The terminal accepts only contactless payments. Tickets are sold in the Visitor Centre, at the Prague Public Transit company counters in Arrival Halls, or from ticket vending machines at both terminals and some bus stops. Most ticket machines at these locations accept contactless credit card payments. Tickets can also be purchased via SMS or the Lítačka mobile app, which can also be used to search for the ideal public transport connection. The application is available for Android and iOS.
Important note: It is essential to ensure that you validate your ticket. Unless you buy it on the orange machines, the ticket must be stamped on the yellow machines at every metro station or within the transport (only on buses and trams). As with the electronic tickets, verifying they are active before getting into the chosen transport is essential. If your ticket is not validated, you can be fined 1000 CZK.
Arriving from the airport
Public transport
You will be arriving from the Václav Havel Airport in Prague and can use public transportation. More detailed information on transport from the airport can be found on the Václav Havel Airport Prague website.
To travel to the city center, you can use either bus PIT (day line 59, 100, 191, nightline 907, 910) or a particular bus, Airport Express (AE) [For the Airport Express (AE) the tickets can be purchased either directly with the driver which can be paid in cash or card or at the Visitor Center in the Arrival Hall].
[1] For the Airport Express (AE) the tickets can be purchased either directly with the driver which can be paid in cash or card or at the Visitor Center in the Arrival Hall.
As indicated in the map, the AE, which goes from the Main Train Station (Hlavni Nadrazi) to the airport directly, can be boarded only at Terminal 1. Otherwise, everything can be accessed at both terminals. The downwards-colored arrows indicate metro lines that are on the bus route. Green is Line A (route for the 59), Yellow is Line B (route 100, 191), and Red is Line C (Route AE). In any of these lines, you can connect to station Vysehrad on line C, which is the following way to arrive at the venue, as indicated in the section “Arriving to the venue.”

Sched allows you to share your contact credentials or otherwise communicate with other delegates. If you wish to utilize this option, remember to set your profile as public in “My Account”. Finally, Sched also offers a mobile app version, available at App Store or Google Play. After downloading, search for "28th Forum 2000 Conference" and then sign up/sign in.
Please note that sessions marked as “by special invitation only” are upon name invitations and access will not be allowed to other delegates. Signing up in Sched does not reserve attendance.
We would additionally like to bring your attention to several notable sessions outside of the traditional format (all are taking place at the Congress Centre unless noted otherwise):
Security
Kindly note that there will be security on the conference side. No oversized luggage is allowed at the conference (handbags and laptop bags are allowed), and security is allowed to do random checks upon entrance.
All participants must wear badges to access the conference floor and maintain a safe conference. In case of any suspicious activities, the event security can do random checks to ensure safety.
Delegates staying at the Corinthia venue should avoid using the metro passage, as it is for ticket holders only. Please use the pedestrian overpass to reach the venue.
By registering, you agree that photos and videos can be published on the official website and social media of Forum 2000. For delegates, be aware that some delegates might not want to be photographed by non-staff members, so please always check who appears in your photos and ask for permission if necessary.
