A German politician for the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), Georg Milbradt was Second Minister President of Saxony for six years. He commenced his political career in 1973, and was Minister of Finance of Saxony for eleven years. In 2013 he was elected Chairman of the Board of the Forum of Federations. Milbradt is a professor at Dresden Technical University, Faculty of Economics, Germany. He obtained his doctoral degree at the University of Münster.
